Theresa May is, both passively and actively, working to normalise Trump in Western politics. The grotesque spectacle of a British Prime Minister laughing off Trump threatening the “ special relationship” and childish criticism of a BBC journalist actually standing up for Britain should never have happened and never be repeated.

I read this back and cringed, but idk. I think its a snapshot of how consistently bad the tories have been, something that I think has been heaped onto Johnson as somehow a uniquely bad tory. I remember when everyone praised May for not applauding Johnson in his last appearance and parliament, but hey, she was the woman that deported the windrush generation.

do many still use this? here are some updates re moi:

1) i was generally and very wrong about corbynism and the labour left, though I maintain corbyn wasn’t a good frontman. 
2) being a doctor is generally unenjoyable
3) that I have moved to the left since starting work is not coincidence 

The only way to get a progressive government in this country is to -> JOIN LABOUR, and vote for a new leader who isn’t a fucking idiot, and then to VOTE LABOUR, because the Lib Dems will never get into government, and the SNP is a party of mild centrism and regressive nationalism

and sorry, indy will be brexit x100 in terms of phantom menace style trade negotiations and other bullshit. You’ll be 20 years down the line after an IMF mandated austerity programme before you get to try some mild social democracy. Which will fail because you either lack a central bank because you’ve taken up the Euro or stayed with Sterling.

Who’s taking the War in Iraq lightly? I’d say its the people who employ it as a tool to get anyone not 100% on board with the current Labour leadership to sit down and shut up.
